Some of you may also recognise Suzanne. Suzanne has been coming to the Merlin Summer Camp for a number of years and will be joining us this year as our Singing Tutor for the weekend. Suzanne has studied Musical Theatre and has been singing Folk Music for a number a years and has an wonderful energy which she will also bring to the camp. Suzanne is vey excited to be teaching at this Year’s Music Camp, she will be concentrating on Scottish songs of course, but will also touch upon other musical styles and cultures. Suzanne aim is to help everyone discover their own singing voice, as well as how to tell a story through song. You will also be working on a little bit of technique and singing in harmony, but the most important goal for the weekend is to have fun!

Our very lovely Kathy will also be joining us for the last time this year for a Saturday workshop and as ever will bring joy, fun and love to the Camp. Kathy will be holding a Harmony Singing Workshop for all – experienced or not.  Songs that will give you the feel good factor from a variety of traditions.

His tuition encapsulates many different styles, genres and techniques. So if guitar is your instrument Andy will be delighted to welcome you along.

This magical, musical weekend is very much about learning from and spending time with all our Camp Tutors.  The whole weekend is geared towards learning tunes/song as a whole group and at the end of the weekend everyone comes together to perform a concert to friends and family.  Music workshops are held throughout the day with lunch/coffee breaks and the evening activities are a wonderful sociable gathering which will include a Music Session and Talent Show as well as evening meals of course.
